Grapefruit Seed Extract or Grapefruit Extract and Its Properties

When grapefruit seeds or their peels are ground, the valuable ingredients can be extracted using solvents: the grapefruit seed extract or grapefruit extract. In addition to tocopherols, grapefruit seeds contain valuable flavonoids and carotenoids – so-called secondary plant compounds. These give our food color, fragrance, and taste and can serve to protect a plant in nature. However, depending on the plant, these valuable ingredients can be present in different concentrations and compositions.
