How does BIOGELAT® UroProtect D-Mannose and Cranberry work?

The combination of D-mannose and cranberry contributes to urinary tract health and can make it difficult for bacteria to adhere to the mucous membranes of the urinary tract.

D-mannose is a naturally occurring sugar that can bind bacteria – especially Escherichia coli – making them easier to excrete with urine.

Cranberry extract contains valuable proanthocyanidins (PACs), which can also help prevent bacteria from adhering to the mucous membranes of the urinary tract.

Vitamin C and Vitamin D3 also support the normal function of the immune system.

Recommended intake

Take 15 ml daily, ideally in the evening before bedtime.

For the prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections, long-term intake is recommended.

The recommended daily amount should not be exceeded.

Side effects

Sensitive individuals may occasionally experience gastrointestinal discomfort. Higher amounts of D-mannose can have a mild laxative effect.
