WICK Nasivin® Classic 0.05% Nasal Drops is a medicine for the local treatment of colds. The active ingredient oxymetazoline hydrochloride causes decongestion of the nasal mucous membrane, which facilitates nasal breathing. The effect starts within 25 seconds and lasts up to 12 hours. The product is suitable for adults and children from 6 years and contains preservatives.
Indication:
For the treatment of acute rhinitis (Rhinitis acuta), allergic rhinitis (Rhinitis allergica), paroxysmal runny nose (Rhinitis vasomotorica), to facilitate the drainage of secretions in sinusitis and in tubal catarrh in conjunction with rhinitis and for diagnostic mucosal decongestion.
Application:
Adults and children from 6 years: 1–2 drops into each nostril 2–3 times a day. The duration of application should not exceed 7 days. A renewed application should only take place after a break of several days.
Side effects:
Possible side effects include local irritations such as burning or dryness of the nasal mucous membrane, sneezing, and in rare cases systemic effects such as headaches, insomnia or palpitations. Prolonged use may lead to chronic swelling of the nasal mucous membrane (Rhinitis medicamentosa).

Storage instructions:
No special storage conditions required. Keep out of reach of children. After opening, the product is stable for 6 months.
Instructions for use:
For nasal use only. Clean the nose before use. Tilt the head back and instill the drops into each nostril. After use, clean the pipette and replace the protective cap.
