Lemocin® for sore throats helps at the first signs of difficulty swallowing and provides relief. Because Lemocin® lozenges not only relieve pain, but are also antibacterial and disinfectant - and taste deliciously like lemon.

HOW THE SPECIAL 3-WAY ACTIVE COMPLEX WORKS:
The lidocaine contained in Lemocin® lozenges is a locally acting anesthetic that relieves sore throats. Tyrothricin has an antibacterial effect, particularly against the germs frequently found in mouth and throat infections. Cetrimonium bromide has antiseptic properties and has a disinfectant effect against germs on the oral and pharyngeal mucosa.
The recommended dose is:
- Adults and adolescents from 12 years: Depending on the severity of the symptoms, 1 lozenge every 1-3 hours. You should not suck more than 8 lozenges per day.
Lemocin® should be slowly moved around the mouth without chewing when sucking, not allowed to dissolve in the cheek pouch, and not bitten or swallowed. Lemocin® lozenges should not be used shortly before or after brushing your teeth, as their effectiveness is reduced by toothpaste.
Duration of use:
Without medical advice, Lemocin® should not be taken for longer than 4-5 days. In cases of severe sore throats or sore throats accompanied by fever, headache, nausea, or vomiting, a doctor should be consulted before use.
FURTHER TIPS FOR SORE THROATS:
- Drinking plenty of fluids helps keep irritated mucous membranes moist and prevents them from drying out. Sage tea or hot milk with honey can help.
- Suck lozenges or candies. These stimulate saliva production, which moistens the mucous membranes.
- Inhaling also moistens the mucous membranes and promotes blood circulation.
- Regular gargling with saline solutions can also moisten mucous membranes and the throat.

Lemocin® is used for the supportive treatment of mild to moderate inflammations of the pharynx and oral cavity (sore throats and inflammations of the oral mucosa).

The active ingredients are:
Tyrothricin, Cetrimonium bromide, Lidocaine
1 lozenge contains:
Tyrothricin 4 mg equivalent to Gramicidin 800 I.U., Cetrimonium bromide 2 mg, Lidocaine 1 mg
The other ingredients are:
Highly dispersed silicon dioxide, guar, magnesium stearate, saccharin sodium, sorbitol, talc, citric acid, peppermint flavor, lemon flavor, quinoline yellow (E 104), indigotin (E 132)
