The active ingredient oxymetazoline hydrochloride causes decongestion of the nasal mucous membrane, which facilitates nasal breathing. The effect starts within 25 seconds and lasts up to 12 hours. The product is suitable for adults and children from 6 years and contains preservatives.\n\nIndication:\nFor the treatment of acute rhinitis (Rhinitis acuta), allergic rhinitis (Rhinitis allergica), paroxysmal runny nose (Rhinitis vasomotorica), to facilitate the drainage of secretions in sinusitis and in tubal catarrh in conjunction with rhinitis and for diagnostic mucosal decongestion.\n\nApplication:\nAdults and children from 6 years: 1–2 drops into each nostril 2–3 times a day. The duration of application should not exceed 7 days. A renewed application should only take place after a break of several days.\n\nSide effects:\nPossible side effects include local irritations such as burning or dryness of the nasal mucous membrane, sneezing, and in rare cases systemic effects such as headaches, insomnia or palpitations. Prolonged use may lead to chronic swelling of the nasal mucous membrane (Rhinitis medicamentosa).\n\nActive ingredients:\nOxymetazoline hydrochloride\n\nComposition:\nOxymetazoline hydrochloride, benzalkonium chloride, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, glycerol 85 %, purified water\n\nStorage instructions:\nNo special storage conditions required.
