When used as a permanent dressing for musculoskeletal disorders, a special bandaging technique is used: \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIchtholan 50% ointment is applied and covered with a gauze bandage. A wide covering of cellulose layers or paper bandage is placed over it. The bandage is secured with a starch or elastoplast bandage. The dressing remains in place for up to 3 days.
