If only one of these symptoms is present, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted about treatment with ibuprofen or pseudoephedrine hydrochloride alone. Adults and adolescents aged 15 years and over take 1 tablet if symptoms are severe, every 6 hours if necessary. For less severe symptoms, taking 1 tablet of a lower-dose medicine with 200 mg ibuprofen and 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride may be sufficient; every 6 hours if necessary.
